Currently work at Lowe's on the night crew but am hoping to begin school again sometime in the next couple of years. Life happens, plans change. School has been moved a little lower on the priority list for now as I help care for an aging parent.
Abbey, my long time, four-footed, canine friend of 14 yrs.; Phoebe, a furball of a cat who seems to think she's a dog as evidenced with patrolling the house, growling when someone knocks on the front door, and running interference for the grandkids.
My house is little by little becoming a home - and I really like that. Next project on the road to accoplishment? Redoing the downstairs bathroom and finishing a walk-in closet. Yep! It's still the little things in life that make me happy! ; )
Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?
I count myself blessed in this area! I still keep in contact with several of my true friends from highschool - a seemingly uncommon thing I've learned from friends I've met since that time!
Tammy (Sonksen) Rosenberry has helped me keep my sanity over the years no matter where I've been in the world. Thank heavens she's now within driving distance!
June (Millard) Lewandoski who, even though her life is very busy, still makes time for me. Thank you, June!
Sarah (Eggleton) Dessell who transmits her continuing joy of life in a contageous way - you just have to love her!
I may be pushing 50 but I still have dreams! I have finally decided what I want to be when I grow up: a draftsman. At this stage of life, it's waaaaaay more about doing what I love vs. what career may make money! And I'm sure my mom is happy that her youngest child has finally grown up! (It just took a little longer than she would have liked!)
