Update us on your life since graduation: |
|
I went to UNI and graduated in 1984 with a degree in teaching. After teaching for awhile, I got my masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education through Univ. of Minnesota. I taught Spec. Ed. in Edgerton, MN for 5 years and then moved closer to Minneapolis. I taught Spec. Ed. for 2 years in Monticello, Mn and then moved over to Rice Lake Elementary in Maple Grove, MN. I continued to teach Spec. Ed and for the last 9 years, I have been teaching first grade. My husband and I met on a blind date in Sept. of 96 and we were married in Aug. of 97. We live in Elk River, MN and have a cabin in Edgerton, MN where my husband spends his time hunting pheasant and ducks and I spend time with friends. |
What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I knit, read, walk the dogs and spend time with friends and family.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

Dori Philllips and I have always kept in contact. Otherwise, I do hear from Mike Dunn occasionally and have just recently been in touch with a few other classmates through Facebook.

My parents still live in Ames so I do get back quite often. My sisters live in Ankeny and Iowa Falls and my brother lives in Donnellson. We all get together often and enjoy being in Ames.
