Tended to be bit of a loner, so really not many memories unfortunately. Of course I have very fond memories of riding bicycle in the country, cross country skiing in the moonlight.
How often do you get back to Ames? Do you still have family there?
Every two or three years. I love going back, but I really never get a vacation. I miss Iowa rather much, though I really don't have any contact with anyone anymore. Mother passed away last year. Father still runs the grocery down in Slater. Sister is married and still in Ames.
