ANNOUNCEMENTS

It's time for our 30-year reunion: June 25-26, 2010!

Make plans to join us for our 30-year class reunion! Create your login/classmate profile, then click on Reunion Registration in the menu at left.

SCHEDULE:

Friday evening, June 25, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.:

  • DG’s Tap House 127 Main Street above The Corner Pocket. No cover charge from 6-10. Cash bar features 56 beers on tap, more than 100 in bottles as well as non-alcoholic beverages. DG's does not serve or sell any food items, but they will let you bring food in.  You can bring in your favorite snacks or food from any local eating establishments such as Great Plains Sauce and Dough, which is right next door.  Often in the summer there is a band starting at 10:00 p.m., so if you choose to stay past 10 p.m., there will ask you to pay a cover charge at that time.
Saturday, June 26:
  • Golf Outing, 9 a.m. shotgun start: 9-hole morning golf outing at Coldwater Golf Links. Main Street
  • Chocolate Decadence Tour: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tour starts at Temptations and includes visits to Chocolaterie Stam and Cook's Emporium for tasting and making chocolates. Space is limited.
  • Tour of Ames High and box lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bill Ripp will be your tour guide!
  • Prairie Moon Winery Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Space is limited.
  • Reunion Dinner Celebration: Buffet dinner at the Scheman Building at the ISU Center. Social Hour is 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 27:

  • Inis Grove Park Shelter Reserved - Although no formal activities have been planned, a park shelter at Inis Grove (24th and Duff Ave.) has been reserved from 10 AM to 2 PM for any classmates who would like to gather at the park with friends and family.  The shelter is called Red Oak and is located off Duff Avenue.
